Texture and Layers

This project is a great example of layering; pairing drapes with sunscreen rollerblinds.

Sunscreen rollerblinds were used in this home for a couple of reasons: privacy and sun protection. Being on a busy road and having evening sun, this was the best option for the customer for a seamless design. With such a big variety of colour options, it was easy finding a colour to compliment the drapes, which has a lot of texture and different tones.

To help with continuity, we used the same fabric in a different colour for the bedrooms. The customer also chose to have shorter drapes in the bedrooms to save wall space.
