Specialising in custom made soft furnishings, Scarlett makes the process of choosing the fabrics a smooth & easy task. She understands the investment in purchasing new soft furnishings and will help you with making the right decision.

Originally from Auckland, Scarlett and her family moved to Invercargill over 20 years ago. Scarlett believes her passion in textiles has been passed down to her from her mum who was a fashion designer when she was younger. Shortly after arriving in Invercargill, Scarlett joined the local Artistic Swimming club. She was a part of this club for almost 10 years and during this time she represented New Zealand.

After finishing school, Scarlett studied at the Southern Institute of Technology and earned a Certificate in Business & Certificate in Interior Design. At the start of 2020, Scarlett started working at H & J Smith in the soft furnishing department. Consulting with clients in store, Scarlett then went to consult in customers homes.

Scarlett enjoys working in a team environment which stems from her being involved in a team sport and working with lots of people in her previous employment. She finds working one on one with her clients that together they are woking as a team to discover which styles, colours and finishes work best for the clients home.
